Sessions range from 2-3 hours. Typically, we will cover no more than 2 kms in total distance.
You can leave all the mental effort behind and truly relax into the experience, with your guide keeping track of the time, place/trail and leading you every step of the way.
Anna will prompt you along the way with sensory-based invitations that allow you to explore the area from a new perspective and refocus on being present and grounded in the natural environment itself.
Additionally, Anna will facilitate group sharing opportunities where we have the chance to practice active listening and hold space for others’ experiences in an intentional, enriching way.
We will not be exerting our bodies or getting our heart rates up. Rather, we’ll engage with a practice of stillness and allow our bodies to rest, receive, and recover.
There is no swimming or literal bathing involved. But if we are on a beach and you feel like jumping in that is fine as well!
Forest therapy is for everyone. Everyone is welcome. There are no special skills or previous experience required.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, and a bottle of water, bring your own snacks if you need them plus a small bag for your belongings. Wear something comfortable including comfortable shoes. If it is cold bring lots of layers; hat, gloves ,rain jacket.
We will provide something for you to sit on, a warm blanket during the cold seasons, and insect spray as needed. Anna will also carry a basic first aid kit.
